The Holocaust Council of Metrowest has hired the JPP to create an innovative series of education programs for adults and students called Shoah Stories.
Following the JPP's unique Community Review Panel process, the Council will select two plays from regional writers and present staged readings of the plays at Yom HaShoah 5772. The plays will then tour New York and New Jersey throughout 2012 and 2013.
"We are so excited by Council Executive Director Barbara Wind's vision for the Shoah Stories program, and grateful that she thought of us to make it a reality." said JPP Director David Winitsky. "Alongside the Survivors Speak series, this will be an innovative way to spread the hard but vital lessons of Holocaust history."
The HCM will make a call for scripts in the fall.
