A crazy night in a Jerusalem cafe. A sodden American rocker steals bus seats after they explode, a writer reminisces on lost love, and Mrs. Max may be divorcing her husband, Mr. Max. But who is setting off the bombs?

I love Lauren’s take on Israel - it’s fun, it’s irreverent, it’s wild - but it’s still heartfelt and true and nuanced. We’ve got to be talking about these issues, but if we can’t laugh, we’re doomed. Plus, my mother adored this play, so that helps.
— Artistic Director David Winitsky
